The Quarry Trail is named for the two nearby quarries that supplied stone for the Ha Ha Tonka castle that was built in the early 1900s but left in ruins after a fire in 1942.  The trail is an easy hike, with only a few sections where footing is a bit tricky.  It's a relatively short (1.75-mile) trail that can be leisurely hiked in about 1-1/2 hours.  The trail is mostly wooded, with a few exposed glades mixed in. The hills on the trail are very gradual.  You can use the connectors to shorten your hike.

The Castle Trail is a short, paved path that simply connects the castle to the parking areas.

The Lake Trail is a rugged trail leading to and from the boat dock along the lake's shoreline.

The panoramic views from the viewing platforms near the castle are among the most beautiful in the entire Lake area.  Most park visitors come to see the castle and the views from it.  The Quarry Trail isn't of much interest to them, so you won't come across many hikers on it.

Mountain biking isn't allowed on the trail.  It's suitable for running, but there are some rocky sections that have some clear tripping hazards.

This trail would be fine for children ages ten and over.  Younger children would have a tough time on the more rugged sections.
